Description

Melatonin has become one of the most required sleep aids as it acts as a regulator in the internal time period of biological rhythms, including sleep regulation. At the same time, Melatonin is not a prescription drug (Rx) and thus has significantly fewer (or no) side effects when taking the recommended daily amount.

In addition to MELATONIN, MAGNESIUM plays a very important role in achieving quality sleep. Magnesium helps calm the nervous system and helps prepare the body and mind for sleep. However, a lack of magnesium in the system can lead to problematic sleep and even insomnia.

Niacin is the B vitamin on which the most positive clinical research has recently been done relating to the impact of improving sleep quality and eliminating insomnia.

Valerian is the only sedative of plant origin, the effectiveness of which has also been proven in clinical trials. They have shown that valerian helps shorten waking time while improving sleep quality. It is usually used to fight tension and anxiety. It has proved useful in simple cases of stress, anxiety, and nervous tension, as well as in severe cases of hysteria, nervous decay, hyperactivity, chorea, heart pounding, headache, and tension (source: Modern phytotherapy, Slovenian Pharmaceutical Society). Unlike many prescription sedatives, valerian has far fewer side effects, such as morning drowsiness. People who take sleeping pills also report on their insomnia worsening when they stop taking the pills. There is no such effect when using valerian.

INGREDIENTS: Magnesium oxide, valeriana officinalis L., capsule shell (gelatine, microcrystalline cellulose), magnesium salts of plant derived fatty acids, niacinamide, colorant (titanium dioxide), anti-caking agent (silicon dioxide), melatonin.
